Why would you need driving lessons if you already have a full driving licence?
You don’t. You don’t need learner driving lessons that is. You can drive – you just need some help to bring you up to scratch.
The roads are busier, faster and more of a challenge now than they ever have been. This is one good reason to take a few refresher lessons with us.
Whether you have been off the road for some time, or feel that you would like to boost your confidence, we will help you with Refresher Lessons.
It could be that you feel that things have moved on and you want to update your skills, or simply want the reassurance of having a professional driving coach oversee your driving. We prefer to think of these as refresher driving coaching sessions rather than driving lessons – you’ve learned to drive before – now you just need a bit of coaching to bring up your skills.
Whatever the reason you wish to take some refresher lessons in Bournemouth and Poole, we won’t seek to turn you back into a learner. You may have been driving for years, and are very experienced, so we won’t try to change your style of driving if it’s not unsafe. We will advise and coach you on improving your driving in a friendly and professional way. You may not have driven for decades and need more help. Either way, we’ll find the right way to help you.
Fleet Trainers
The instructors at The DriveAll Driver Training Co. are Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) Fleet Registered. This is a special, more advanced training qualification than the standard Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) badge. The Fleet accreditation means that your driving instructor has been specifically trained in coaching techniques to assess and advise full-licence holders. There are around forty thousand driving instructors in the UK. There are only a few Fleet Registered trainers.
Tailored Sessions
Refresher sessions will be tailored to your needs, whether that is related to general driving, parking or reversing, or driving a bigger (or smaller) vehicle than you’re used to. We can help you with driving at night, or in poor weather.

If it has been some time since you have driven, for whatever reason whatsoever, and you feel that you wish to regain some confidence, then Refresher Lessons are ideal way to do this. Perhaps it’s just certain aspects of driving that you want to brush-up on, like parking, or dealing with roundabouts, or perhaps it is driving in general. Whatever is worrying you, The DriveAll Driver Training Co. can offer you expert Refresher Lessons and have you back driving with that renewed confidence again before long.
Refresher Lessons can also be useful for helping some people familiarise themselves with an area they may have just moved to, and are perhaps unfamiliar with a new road network
Every refresher lesson is tailored to your specific needs. This means that it’s largely down to you what is covered. If you want to do parking, then that’s what the lesson will involve. If you want to drive on busy roundabouts, that’s what you will do. You and your DriveAll Driver Training Co. instructor will work this all out between you so you get the most from your lessons.
Again, this will largely depend on you. If you have been off the road for a considerable time, it stands to reason that it might take longer to regain confidence than say, you have only been away from driving a few months or a year. Some drivers may only need a single Refresher Lesson, but others may feel they need more, and opt to take a series of sessions to focus on different aspects of their driving.
Yes, of course you can. Provided you feel confident enough to drive your own car, we will be very happy for you to take your Refresher Lessons in your own car if you wish to do so.
